We are seeking a skilled and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our maintenance team. This critical role focuses on enhancing plant uptime and optimizing machinery and processes efficiency. The Reliability Engineer will contribute to the development of innovative ideas, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives across the entire site.

Responsibilities:

Site-wide responsibilities covering the sawmill, planer mill, dry kilns, site services, and mobile equipment.

Analyze plant downtime, quality, safety, and financial data to identify areas for improvement in maintenance and operations, including:

Conducting and coordinating failure investigations.
Redesigning machinery and processes for improved reliability and lower operating costs.
Direct supervision of Reliability Technicians, including:

Implementing best practices for lubrication.
Overseeing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
Managing hydraulic and compressor programs.
Champion the adoption of Best Maintenance Practices per the resource library on the internal intranet.

Utilize the mill's computerized maintenance management system (Maximo) to manage all maintenance activities within the scope of this position.

Assist in planning and executing maintenance activities as required.

Identify opportunities across the site to improve efficiency, lower costs, and reduce waste.

Additional Duties:

Coordinate and manage services from OEM representatives and other third parties.
Benchmark performance and best practices at other facilities.
Communicate reliability activities and results to all departments, including senior management.
Understand machinery functions in detail through hands-on approaches.
Project management.

Qualifications:

Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or similar Engineering Degree. Exception for candidates with 20 years of experience.
2 to 5 years of relevant experience with industrial manufacturing equipment.

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
