Job Title: Java Financial Applications Developer with Capital Market

Location: New York City (hybrid: 2-3 days in NYC)

Duration: six months contract with a likely extension

Anticipated start date: Immediately

Key skills: 

Java, heavy Capital Markets (pref Derivatives or Equities)

need people who have directly developed trading platforms. Murex would be a
plus

will consider candidate from nearby state, willing to relocate

Candidates without Equity trading and Stock loan platforms experience won?t
be considered

Skills required:


5 + years Java 8+
Equity trading and Stockloan platforms
Spring framework / Spring boot
Webservices / REST API / Micro Services
Messaging, multi-threaded processes, understanding of design patterns
basic understanding of application security (ssl, certificates)
Comfortable working in a fast paced, iterative/agile environment
Able to work independently
git
Solid coder
junit, Mockito
Financial background  Good to have:


Web 2 UI development (angular 8+, html, CSS, JavaScript, typescript,
WebSocket) C# with WinForms development
