Sr. Manager, Business Development

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Manage and lead the business development team, overseeing recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within wholesale clubs, national fleet/large equipment, power sports, auto dealership sectors, and other relevant channels.
Develop and execute strategies to expand market share and drive revenue growth.
Sales Programs:
Create and implement targeted sales programs specifically tailored to specified sectors.
Client Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as the main point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and negotiations.
Market Research:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities within designated sectors.
Industry Monitoring:
Monitor industry development and changes to stay ahead of market dynamics.
Sales Performance Tracking:
Develop accurate sales forecasts and track performance against targets.
Prepare regular reports for management, providing insights into market trends and sales performance.
Negotiations:
Lead negotiations with key clients to secure advantageous agreements.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance.
Cultural Alignment:
Foster a culture consistent with the company's purpose, core values, and strategic anchors.
Attendance:
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
Other Duties:
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Solid understanding of the consumer goods manufacturing industry and specified sectors.

Qualifications:
Education: BachelorÂ’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of proven experience in business development, including 3+ years directly managing staff.
Internal applicants: Approval from current manager and relevant experience.
Equivalent qualifications: Consideration on a case-by-case basis.

Salary: $140,000 - $165,000 Yearly
