SALES ASSOCIATE/SALES SPECIALIST
at Staffworthy Inc in Arizona
Our company is a leading player in the upholstery industry, specializing in providing high-quality fabrics and products. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Associate to manage Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers in the designated regions of the US and/or Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
Regularly communicate with Tier 2 (and Tier 3) customers to understand their current and future upholstery fabric needs.
Monitor customer preferences, needs, and industry trends to develop effective sales strategies.
Coordinate with key Tier 2 customers on new product developments.
Territory Growth:
Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales objectives in the designated region.
Manage expenses efficiently to support territory growth.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with Sales Directors, VP of Sales, and internal departments to ensure coordinated efforts in sales and marketing.
Work with regional sales associates to contribute to overall business growth.
Market Analysis and Networking:
Stay updated on market trends and industry intelligence.
Evaluate market conditions and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for business growth.
Customer and Partner Relationships:
Build strong relationships with customers and partners in the assigned territory.
Prospect new accounts and expand the customer base.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Create inventory sales reports and manage stock to minimize obsolete items.
Provide market-based feedback on new product opportunities.
Handle travel arrangements and business expenses.
Representational Duties:
Represent the company at trade shows and conventions to maintain customer relations and promote new products.
Key Skills:
Fluent in spoken/written English.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Professional and organized.
Innovative thinker with a dynamic customer interaction approach.
Results-driven with a positive and energetic attitude.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Good knowledge of the upholstery industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lift and transport sample bags up to 70 lbs.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in B2B Sales and/or Marketing.
Preferred industry experience in furniture, decorative home goods, luxury products, specialty fabrics, or similar consumer goods.
Education:
BachelorÂ’s degree in Marketing, Business, Textiles, or related field, or equivalent education and related training.
Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Sales Director.
