SCADA Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced HMI/MES/SCADA Systems Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing Human-Machine Interface (HMI), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, primarily using the Ignition platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop HMI, MES, and SCADA systems using the Ignition platform.
Work with various technologies, including but not limited to data historians (e.g., OSI PI, Rockwell FactoryTalk Historian), databases (SQL Server, Oracle), and custom applications (C#, .NET).
Develop and configure interfaces with third-party software tools, particularly OPC servers.
Provide detailed documentation to clients regarding system design and programming.
Utilize experience in a manufacturing environment, focusing on SCADA or MES applications with a specialization in Ignition development.
Work with OPC servers and tag data, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Develop applications using higher-level programming languages such as C#, .NET, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or others as needed.
Work with SQL or Oracle databases, writing medium to complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Demonstrate the ability to understand PLC logic and programming.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in designing and developing HMI, MES, and SCADA systems, with a focus on Ignition development.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or equivalent.
Experience working with data historians (OSI PI, Rockwell FactoryTalk Historian) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
Proficiency in developing interfaces with OPC servers.
Excellent documentation skills, providing detailed information on system design and programming.
Familiarity with PLC logic and programming.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000
