Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Audit Manager with a focus on not-for-profit clients for our Columbus, OH office. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical skills, demonstrate the ability to formulate recommendations and implement solutions to technical issues, and contribute to building the firm's technical expertise. The Audit Manager will actively participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and trends.

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple audit engagements for commercial and not-for-profit clients, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Provide expert guidance and advice to clients, assisting them in achieving their goals and fulfilling their missions.
Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and other client deliverables.
Lead and manage staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
Develop and maintain client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.
Stay informed about the latest accounting and auditing standards and trends across all sectors.

Qualifications:

Solid technical skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly.
Strong understanding of general economic and political trends, proposed pronouncements, and relevant legislation affecting the business climate.
Thorough knowledge of the firmÂ’s philosophy, reports, policies, procedures, and opinions on financial matters.
Experience in staff management and training.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification.
Minimum of [X] years of audit experience, with a focus on not-for-profit clients.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to make broad decisions independently.

Salary: $85,000 - $114,000 Yearly
