Project Manager

Responsibilities:
Overall Project Management:
Budget management, including cost tracking, forecasting, monthly projections, review with the project team, contingency and allowance tracking, change orders, equipment, and labor resources.
Contract management in adherence to owner contract requirements, writing, creating and managing subcontractor contracts, and reviewing/creating subcontractor change orders.
CPM Schedule Development, tracking, and updating.
Oversight of RFIÂ’s, procurement, submittal, and other typical operations performed by the Project Engineer.
Run and facilitate Owner/Architect/Contractor weekly meetings.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure necessary resources are available for successful project execution.
Manage and oversee Project Engineers and their responsibilities.
Develop productive, trusting, and professional relationships with Owners and Architects.
Participate in interviews to secure new projects.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 5 years in the construction industry.
No more than 2 companies in 5 years, or 3 companies in 10 years.
Prior project experience as a Project Manager on jobs $3M+.
Good references from previous Owners and employers.
Must be a resident of the United States.
Prior experience as a Project Engineer; processing RFIÂ’s, submittals, etc.
BachelorÂ’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Healthcare and/or educational project experience preferred.
Leadership skills with a focus on ownership, accountability, teamwork, and setting an example for others.
Effective communication skills with a positive and consensus-building approach.
Relationship-focused, genuinely caring about others, and a good listener.
