Security Architect (Onsite)

The Architecture team consists of 5 colleagues who are waiting for your inspiration and knowledge to join
our team. Together we provide guidance in making complex decisions, help to structure projects, and
provide direction in the development of services. With a view to the future, with an understanding of the
present and lessons from the past. Together with the other architects, we work on the development of
secure solutions that meet all security requirements and together we make the Netherlands a lot safer.
Role:
As a security architect, you play a critical role in the design and implementation of our customer's security
systems and processes. Your work can have a major impact on the overall security posture of our
customers. Some of the key areas where the work of a security architect can make a difference include:
Monitoring, Cyber, Identity and Advisory.
The role is a hybrid arrangement with 2-3 days a week at our KPN office locations. To encourage
collaboration between the teams and get to know each other better, we meet regularly in Zoetermeer. In
addition, you can do a part of your work from home.`
Together with 5 experienced security architects we design and implement a comprehensive security
strategy that protects an organization's assets, data, and reputation from threats and enhances its overall
security posture.
To be successful in this role you need technical skills, industry knowledge, communication and
leadership abilities.
You should :
• Have a strong understanding of security technologies and protocols, as well as experience designing
and implementing security solutions.
• Be familiar with industry regulations and standards and should have experience helping
organizations comply with these requirements.
• have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and should be able to effectively
communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Have experience leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with other
stakeholders, such as developers, operations, and business leaders.

proposes to the customer to meet compliance and legal requirements to make sure they are not at risked
in the field of security. The architects ensure that customer-specific solutions are incorporated into this
architecture, particularly in large RFP processes.
You as a security architect in our team can bring high value to our customers by helping to protect its
assets, reputation, and customer trust, and enabling it to operate with confidence in a constantly evolving
threat landscape.
• Technical expertise: Security architects have a deep understanding of security technologies and can
design and implement solutions that effectively protect an organization's assets and data.
• Strategic thinking: Security architects can take a holistic view of an organization's security needs
and develop a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with business objectives.
• Risk management: Security architects have the skills and knowledge to assess and manage security
risks, ensuring that an organization is prepared to respond to threats and mitigate the impact of security
incidents.
