Training & Development Internship

The Training & Development Internship aims to enhance the skill sets and competencies of our staff members through online courses on Udemy. The project focuses on identifying individual problem areas within the organization and recommending suitable courses to address these challenges. The project's main objective is to enable employees to develop essential skills that contribute to individual growth and overall company success.
Goals and Objectives:
- Identify and understand the specific skills gap within the organization.
- Research and curate Udemy courses that align with individual problem areas, ensuring the content is relevant and valuable to their professional development.
- Provide professional training plan for each staff member to improve their skills and competencies based on their roles and problem areas.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, skill improvement, and adaptation to emerging technologies.
Task and Duties:
- Conduct an initial skills assessment for each staff member to identify their problem areas by collaborating with department managers to understand specific skills gaps.
- Research and select relevant Udemy courses for each problem area, considering the content, reviews, and instructor credentials for relevance and quality.
- Create personalized training plans for each staff member, outlining the recommended courses, and a timeline for completion.
- Present training recommendations to department managers for approval and coordinate course enrollment and access for staff members.
- Monitor progress and provide guidance to staff members throughout their training journey.
- Evaluate the impact of the training by assessing improvements in skill sets and job performance.
- Prepare regular progress reports for management, highlighting the achievements and outcomes of the training program.
- Collect feedback from staff members and assess the effectiveness of the training.
Skills Required:
- Preferred: Excellent Project Management skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify appropriate courses for each problem area.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with department managers and staff effectively.
- Organizational skills to manage and track the progress of individual training plans.
- Basic understanding of HR processes and professional development.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms, particularly Udemy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
