Learning Services (through partnership with ReMed) is seeking a part-time nursing professional to join our team and oversee operations for our facilities in Escondido, CA. This is a chance to join a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty, and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Pay Information: $35-$37/hour. Pay rate is dependent on relevant work experience and skillset. Sign-on bonuses are currently being offered between $2000-$4000.

Schedule: Thursday-Sunday & 10 hour shifts. Nurse hired must be able to work this schedule consistently, exact hours will be discussed with management.

Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for planning and provision of comprehensive nursing care to a specific group of patients and delivery of medical regimens prescribed for those patients by a licensed physician; and participation in the identification and implementation of best nursing practices. The nurse also provides training to clients or family members regarding how to promote health, wellness and medical stability as well as to staff. The nurse on the Rehabilitation Team contributes to and implements evidence-based treatment strategies that are related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. The position provides for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Standards for Nursing Practice.

Qualifications:
Licensure as a LPN/LVN is required.
1-2 years’ experience in nursing is preferred.
Must be able to commute to location and work the Thursday-Sunday shift.
Demonstrated accountability and skills in analysis, problem solving, decision making, related to medical nursing skills and time management required.
The ability to communicate in writing and verbally with families, clients, staff and physicians is a must.
A valid driver's license, insurance and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
