Position: Mobile UI Developer

Location: McLean, VA - remote

Duration: 5 months with the possibility of extensions (conversion is an
option down the road too)  REMOTE 

Interview process - 1 round 45-60 minute interview, coding challenge involved
in the interview

  

Required Skills:  


Bachelor's Degree in IT is required
2-4 years of hands-on Kotlin development and experience, new code is
written in Kotlin
Reactive programming (Rx java, Rx Kotlin, framework experience is required
Enterprise Mobile experience handling high-level enterprise work
understanding the complexity of work is ideal
UI Experience is required and should be demonstrated
Work in an agile environment, jira story experience, and ability to own
stories and participate in retros, code sessions, and reviews
They have an in-house system called Toolbox ? how to get their people to
learn
It?s an MDM system ?that  uses reactive principles to get code working and
compartmentalized  

Day to day:


Participate in daily standups (10am-4pm EST)
Work with Tech Lead, product owner, and Sr. Android Developer to review
tickets available, generate more information as needed
Coding work ? the expectation is to handle bug fixes, handle production
support issues that can occur daily, build and develop code ? tickets have been
groomed, designs are in, the expectation is to work independently to build code
and asks from the product owners
Working with cross-collaborative teams (UI/UX, POs, ADLs, tech leads) to
operate fairly independently cross-collaborative
Focus is to double their capacity with Android Development
