Skills/expertise

? Have a passion for creating amazing experiences on Android using Google?s
Material Design guidelines using your solid understanding of functional
programming and reactive patterns

? Deep knowledge of Android design patterns including Clean Architecture.
Experience building multi-module Android apps is a big plus. Experience with
MVVM/MVI is also a plus.

? Proven experience with the mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and
emerging technologies used in creating performant, resilient, and robust
Android apps

? Proven understanding of modern development principles such as trunk-based
development, feature toggles, and branch by abstraction to support performant
engineering teams.

? Solid understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and
SonarQube to continuously and autonomously deliver high-quality apps to
guarantee stable and performant experiences.

? Good understanding of Android Jetpack is preferred, as well as open-source
libraries like Retrofit, and OkHttp to build modern, architecturally compliant,
and future-ready apps

? Good understanding of Android?s accessibility features and experience
building accessible experiences on Android

? Experience with Co-routines, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM), and Jetpack
Compose is a plus

? Solid understanding of modern development principles such as trunk-based
development, feature toggles, and branch by abstraction to support performant
and collaborative engineering teams.

? Good understanding of Android Architecture Components as well as
open-source libraries like Retrofit, Picasso, and OkHttp to build modern,
architecturally compliant, and future-ready apps

? Collaborate with architecture, security, and UXD to build architecturally
compliant apps

? Partner with platform squads to define mobile engineering standards and
tooling

The Team

We build amazing experiences for millions of Personal Investing customers.

This squad is building aggregate views for customers spend on both the credit
card and debit cards along with other enhancements to the Android application
(updates on payment, balance and due dates for example). The credit card
transactions are through their vendor and therefore involve API calls.This
includes to get a list transactions, for the cash transactions, it will involve
calling another api within their infrastructure, data manipulation here and
there, building ui with jetpack compose, modularize way, call apis to cash
information. a squad that is focused on spending, debit and credit card
transactions, aggregated view that will include transactions on the bank
account and credit account, aggregation layer calling the credit card provider,

Must haves:


They are using MVVM Also would be great to have view model library with
Jetpack. Deep understanding of clean architecture with MVP and MVVM, Model view
Presenter, writing code in a resilient way,
Retrofit ? this is a network transaction and will come into play with the
API calls to the credit card vendor.
Kotlin ? programming is a MUST, Must know extension functions, co?routines,
RX Java ? required
Jetpack Compose is a big plus ? should at least be aware of the technology
Multi Module Applications ? they have 3 different applications using
reusable code ? . Building features in a compartmentalized reusable way.
Understands the benefits of CI/CD
Expected to contribute at the table for any design and architecture
questions.
