Residential Conveyancing Secretary

We are looking for a Residential Conveyancing Secretary to join our York office on a full time basis (35 hours per week).
We are an established and respected CQS accredited law firm with offices in York, Wetherby and Malton. You will be joining a firm that has seen a fantastic growth over the last few years and has a large share of the legal business in the local area.
The Role
Full support to fee earners as required including:
Preparing correspondence and documents through digital dictation.
Client Enquiries
Updating Agents and Clients
Familiar with ordering searches, preparing SDLT returns and Land Registry applications
Preparing draft documents for approval
Submitting pre-exchange searches
Final Conveyancing Searches before completion
Willingness to work independently on tasks – deal with scheduled completion, process ID and returned papers, send out contract packs
Audio typing
Diary Management
Dealing with correspondence and preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch
