Full-time Techno-Functional Workday Engineer

We are hiring a Techno-Functional Workday Engineer for an exciting opportunity based in Jersey City, NJ.

This role is ideal for professionals who can bridge the gap between HR business stakeholders and technical teams, bringing strong expertise in Workday HCM and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end solution design across Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, Talent, and Payroll. Partner closely with HR stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable configurations while ensuring compliance and governance.

Drive integration architecture and delivery using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP APIs). Manage the complete integration lifecycle from requirement gathering and mapping to deployment and post-production support. Troubleshoot integration issues and optimize system performance while handling vendor integrations and secure authentication protocols.

Take ownership of program and stakeholder management by leading workshops, converting business requirements into technical designs, and providing executive-level updates on roadmap and risks. Mentor team members, coordinate release management, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Key Requirements:

5+ years of Workday experience in HCM configuration and/or security
5+ years of Workday integration experience (Studio, EIB, APIs) preferred
Experience with full lifecycle Workday implementations or tenant refreshes
Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security best practices
Ability to work in regulated environments and manage cross-functional teams
