Role Details:

Job Title: Controls Engineer 1
Location: Mossville, IL (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week)

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of CAN and Ethernet systems
Experience with Python and Power BI

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in electrical design from concept to system completion
Test, evaluate, modify, and calibrate products and instruments
Analyze plant processes and implement improvements
Troubleshoot hardware and process-related issues
Perform technical calculations related to electrical systems and safety standards
Ensure compliance with safety and legal requirements

Work Environment:

Work onsite at Peoria Proving Ground (Mossville, IL)
Involved in machine telematics, remote services, troubleshooting, and system updates
Collaborate with multiple teams and attend regular status meetings
Work schedule typically 7 AM – 4 PM, with exposure to outdoor conditions

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
1–3 years of relevant experience
