We’re Hiring: Front Office Analyst Developer – Trading Analytics Technology

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Front Office Analyst Developer to act as a key bridge between trading desks and global technology teams. This role combines analytics, light engineering, and stakeholder engagement to drive adoption of trading analytics platforms and enhance front-office workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

User Enablement & Product Adoption

Act as a subject matter expert for trading analytics platforms and tools
Deliver training sessions, onboarding, and user support for trading teams
Promote new features and ensure adoption across front-office users
Serve as the primary point of contact for trading workflow support

Front Office Analysis & Engineering

Develop analytical utilities and workflow enhancements using Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA
Analyze large datasets including pricing, market data, and forward curves
Build dashboards and visualization tools using Power BI, Plotly, and similar tools
Optimize and migrate spreadsheet-based workflows into scalable solutions
Integrate local tools with enterprise platforms using APIs and data pipelines

Cross-Location Collaboration

Collaborate with global teams across London and Pune
Translate user feedback into actionable requirements for product teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog refinement
Document workflows, solutions, and design approaches

Required Skills:

10+ years of experience in front-office analytics, trading technology, or related roles
Strong trading-floor experience (energy or commodities preferred)
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel/VBA
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Plotly
Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, and large-scale data processing
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have:

Experience with Dataiku or similar analytics platforms
Knowledge of ETL processes and workflow orchestration
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or SQL Server
Experience in commodity trading analytics or risk systems
