Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PPDS Consultant to lead consulting, solution design, and implementation within a complex, regulated environment. This role requires deep expertise in SAP APO PPDS / SAP S4 HANA PPDS, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with business stakeholders, drive design discussions, and support full project lifecycle activities.

You will work across business process consulting, configuration, deployment, testing, training, and go-live support, while contributing to proposal development and capability building.

Mandatory Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (or 3 years of progressive IT experience per year of education).

10+ years of experience in Information Technology.

Location: Anywhere in the USA (remote).

Work Authorization: Only U.S. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship).

Technical Requirements (SAP PPDS)

10+ years of experience in SAP APO PPDS or SAP S4 HANA PP/DS

5+ years of experience implementing SAP S4 PP/DS or SAP APO PPDS

Hands-on ABAP debugging experience

Strong experience in:

Customer interaction, requirement gathering, and design workshops

Writing test scripts, IT/UAT support, training, and cut-over activities

Pharma/ Life Sciences implementation experience is mandatory

Strong understanding of GxP and SOX regulatory environments

Ability to independently lead PPDS solution design & delivery

Working knowledge of:

SAP IBP Demand

SAP CI-DS

Integration knowledge with modules: SD, MM, PP, Manufacturing, QM

SAP certifications are a plus

Detailed Scheduling Planning Board & Functions

Detailed Scheduling Heuristics

PPDS Subcontracting

Campaign Planning

Understanding of daily DS tools & business impact

Detailed Responsibilities

Align with client and internal teams on PP/DS migration activities

Requirement gathering from client/business stakeholders

Collaborate with ABAP team for functional requirements and issue resolution

Perform Unit Testing, Integration Testing, regression testing, and rollout activities

Drive PPDS solution design independently

Support training, cut-over, and go-live tasks

Prepare documentation, test scripts, and functional specs
