About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and organised Equipment Hire Manager to oversee the
delivery, setup, maintenance, and return of our event hire inventory. This role is
mobile and involves travel to various client locations across NSW, including private
residences, corporate venues, and outdoor sites.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily logistics for equipment delivery and collection
Supervise setup and pack-down of hire items at event sites
Maintain and monitor inventory including marquees, tables, chairs,
kitchenware, and AV equipment
Conduct basic repairs and coordinate servicing schedules
Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure equipment meets event
requirements
Track usage, damage, and returns using inventory systems
Ensure compliance with WHS standards during transport and on-site
operations
Assist with rostering and coordination of casual setup staff when required
Skills and Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in equipment hire, event logistics, or a similar
operational role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and travel across NSW
Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with event equipment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Current drivers licence (essential)
Forklift licence or manual handling certification (desirable)
