Job Description:
NC DHHS ITD is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Solutions Developer to support application enhancements and ongoing development for the Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH). This role requires a technical expert with strong experience in Salesforce solutions, capable of bridging business needs with secure, scalable architecture and providing hands-on support for customized Salesforce applications.

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, technical leads, and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-level solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices, security standards, and change management processes.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with SMEs, Tech Leads, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Design secure, scalable Salesforce architectures that align with data security and performance standards.

Lead solutioning sessions, code reviews, and release planning workshops.

Oversee Copado deployments and best practices in release/change management.

Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance criteria.

Assist in Salesforce environment setup and CI/CD pipeline processes.

Create technical documentation, solution diagrams, and data models.

Mentor project teams on Salesforce best practices and governance.

Required Skills & Certifications:

4+ years experience with GitHub, Copado, Jira for change and release management.

Salesforce Admin I & II Certification.

Salesforce Platform Developer I & II and/or Platform App Builder Certification.

Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Certification.

Copado I & II Certification and CRT Certification.

Experience with Salesforce Shield, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Gov Cloud.

Proficiency with Salesforce requirements gathering, analysis, and technical diagrams.

Experience with OwnBackup installation and maintenance.

Familiarity with Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban).

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Preferred:

Experience working with Federal or State government agencies.

Prior involvement with Salesforce Centers of Excellence (CoE) or best practice oversight teams.
