Creative Design Director needs 6+ years minimum professional experience at an in-house team or creative agency
Design Director requires:
• Design Director, Advertising, Creative Agency, Creative Leadership, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Asana, Web Design, External Agencies, Slack
• 6+ years experience managing designers, including brand, motion, and web design
• Extensive experience working with external agencies and design vendors from RFP to delivery
• A strategic design portfolio that clearly demonstrates your design process from ideation to implementation, and ability to lead designers to deliver high-bar creative
• A deep knowledge of visual design principles including layout, typography, color and composition
• Bachelor’s degree in related creative field (design, advertising, etc.).
• Experience in Creative Leadership, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and Asana.
Design Director duties:
• Act autonomously to manage and guide a team of designers to develop high-bar, impactful marketing creative from brief to delivery
• Coordinate and contribute to strategic creative briefs, defining a top-level creative vision and/or prompts which drive strategic design development, interpret and clarify stakeholder feedback, direct appropriate creative revisions, and oversee delivery of final creative assets
• Succinctly and professionally present to senior leadership, stakeholders, and organizations.
