Product Owner (experienced in mVAS)

We're seeking an adept Product Owner who will be responsible for the in-house VAS product planning and execution throughout the entire product life cycle, including but not limited to: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Within the Product Owner role you will also ensure that our product portfolio is in line with the CompanyÂ’s overall strategy and goals.

As part of the companyÂ’s global team, you will work closely with the Head of VAS as well as the Director of Operations in order to drive business initiatives aimed at successful expansion of the business into new markets as well as maximizing the profits in the existing markets.

1 - YOUR MAIN DUTIES:
- Work together with the Director of Operations and Head of VAS to define the in-house product strategies and roadmaps considering stakeholder needs, business priorities and market trends
- Collaborate with prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate business requirements and convert them to technical specification requirements for outlined solution delivery
- Develop and communicate clear visions of the products, align them with overall business goals and objectives
- Create, prioritize and maintain product backlogs to ensure backlogs are refined, updated and reflects the evolving needs of the products
- Define acceptance criteria and user stories that outline the desired outcome and functionalities of the products
- Facilitate communication, provide progress updates, gather feedback and manage expectations to ensure everyone is on the exact same page
- Conduct market research, user interviews and feedback analysis to gather insights and make informed decisions about the product features and functionalities
- Provide an active role in mitigating roadblocks to achieving sprint/ release goals
- Keep abreast with Agile/ Scrum best practices and trends

2- YOUR ATTRIBUTES:
- English proficiency is a must
- At least 3 years of experience as Product Owner or Business Analyst in the mVAS industry
- Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
- Experience in working with Agile / Scrum work environment
- Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
- Team spirit and good communication abilities
- Good time management skills and a firm understanding of the importance of deadlines
- Sharp analytical and problem solving skills
- Creative thinker with a vision
