Job Description:

Paradise Jerky is seeking a dedicated Events Sales & Operations Manager to join our team in Honolulu, HI. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in expanding our presence by managing, attending, and overseeing our farmer's market operations throughout the island of Oahu. You will be responsible for setting up our booth at various events, farmer's markets, & craft fairs engaging with customers, distributing samples, and driving sales. As our Event Sales & Operations Manager, you will work closely with company directors and owners to gain valuable experience and contribute to the growth of our business. Both entry-level and experienced applicants are welcome.

Responsibilities:

• Generate sales and manage event operations at different locations across the island, approximately 7 hours per day, 6 days a week.
• Proactively engage with event & market attendees, offering samples and information about our products.
• Utilize your own vehicle to transport equipment, products, and materials to various market locations.
• Set up and organize the booth, including tents, tables, and signage.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals for each event, actively promoting our brand.
• Collaborate with the management team to provide input on market strategies, booth design, and sales tactics.
• Learn the intricacies of the business, with opportunities to contribute to decision-making and team-building as you gain experience.
• Assist in hiring and training team members as we expand.
• Embrace the opportunity to influence the growth and direction of our events & market operations.

Qualifications:

• Must pass our in-person sales test! For the test, we will be attending an event together and you will be asked to perform sales at the booth for an hour as if you already had the job
• Must be an extrovert with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Comfortable approaching people and excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation (car) with ample trunk space for traveling to market locations.
• Ability to stay neat & organized with all the market supplies
• Punctual (on-time), effective planner & good time management
• Self motivated, self starter, ability to work independently
• Creative & brings new ideas to the table
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus

Compensation:

• Base hourly pay in the range of $18-$20.
• Opportunity for bonus's & commission based on meeting sales quotas.
• Additional daily bonus's of up to $100 and commissions up to $2/bag for every bag sold after meeting specific market quotas.
• Tiered daily bonus's and commission structure received after meeting specific market goals. Example below: Please note actual commission will depend on the specific event you are attending!
• (Tier 1) 30 bags sold = $15 bonus / (Tier 2) 60 bags sold = Additional $50 bonus + $1 per bag sold thereafter / (Tier 3) 100 bags sold = Additional $75 bonus + $2 per bag sold thereafter etc.
• Additional Monthly and Annual bonus's for hitting sales goals
• Earning potential of $70,000-$80,000 + per year with commission and bonuses.

• PLEASE NOTE there is a required 30 day training period where wage is $16/hour, commission is unavailable, and termination is plausible if sales expectations are not met.
