WeÂ’re seeking a future team member in the role of Senior Associate Full-Stack Engineer to join our Corporate Trust team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID.

BNYM provides leading Corporate Trust services to the debt capital markets, including trustee, paying agency, fiduciary, and escrow. We offer clients world-class products, service, and technology and have experience ranging from traditional to the most specialized asset classes and complex financing structures, and at all stages of the deal lifecycle—from issuance to maturity.


Corporate Trust Technology is amid a huge technology revamp. Considering the core nature of business, high performance and resiliency are core pillars of our technology architecture. We are looking for strong developers who are excited about building these next gen systems. They will be part of a core team that will drive these projects driving forward. This is a hands-on individual contributor role.

In this role, youÂ’ll make an impact in the following ways:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team, including product owner, business analysts, scrum masters, front-end and back-end developers
• Design, develop and implement microservices using Java Spring Boot, ensuring code is modular, testable and re-usable
• Design, develop and implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript/Java ensuring an exceptional user experience
• Ensure seamless integration and communication between front-end and back-end components
• Utilize your knowledge in NoSQL DB (CosmosDB) to design, develop and optimize data models for seamless storage within a distributed system
• Create RESTFul APIs to enable smooth communication between microservices and external systems
• Conduct regular code reviews, unit testing, CICD and maintain high code quality and reliability

To be successful in this role, weÂ’re seeking the following:

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
5-7 years of experience in software development required.
S/he must have prior lead experience selecting and implementing vendor-specific methodologies and prior consulting experience with structured methodologies.
Job holder must have broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits..
Expert in Core / Advanced Java, python, and OOP
Expert of front-end technologies: Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
5+ yearsÂ’ experience in developing and deploying microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring IOC or similar frameworks
Knowledge of JIRA, Junit and Apache Kafka are preferred.
3+ yearsÂ’ of Hands-on experience with SQL
Knowledge with NoSQL DB (CosmosDB, MongoDB) is plus
Experience of REST API principles, design pattern, HTTP protocol is required.
Familiarity with containerization tools and cloud platforms is a plus
Experience in securities or financial services industries is a plus.
