This role will play a crucial part in designing and implementing an integrated logging framework that aligns with our business needs. Their expertise will contribute to effective debugging, diagnostics, auditing, and user behavior analysis, ultimately driving successful marketing strategies.

Responsibilities:

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Work closely with Business Analysts (BAs), Product Managers, and the System Architect to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Engage in discussions to identify logging needs across different aspects of our platform.
Design of End-to-End Logging Framework:

Architect a comprehensive logging solution that integrates Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with additional Custom Google Platform (CGP) logging tools and technologies.
Address the following key areas:

Debugging and Diagnostics: Ensure robust logging for identifying and resolving issues promptly.
Auditing of Sensitive/Administrative Activities: Implement secure and auditable logging mechanisms for sensitive operations.
User Behavior Metrics: Capture relevant data to drive effective marketing decisions.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Logging, Pub/Sub, and Big Query: Leverage these services to enhance logging capabilities and data analysis.
Data Protection and Compliance: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) while handling sensitive information, especially personally identifiable information (PII).
Incremental Implementation Planning:

Collaborate with the Product Owner to create an incremental implementation plan.
Prioritize features and functionalities based on business impact and technical feasibility.
Define milestones and deliverables for the logging framework.
Leadership and Coordination:

Lead the implementation of the logging framework.
Coordinate activities between front-end and back-end developers who own subsystems interacting with the logging infrastructure.
Ensure seamless integration and adherence to best practices.
Scalability, Performance, and Efficient Log Storage:

Optimize logging systems for performance and minimize impact on application responsiveness.
Implement strategies for efficient log storage, retrieval, and archival.
Consider scalability requirements as the platform grows.
Monitoring, Alerting, and Troubleshooting:

Set up monitoring and alerting mechanisms within the logging framework.
Detect anomalies, errors, or critical events promptly.
Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stack driver is desirable for deeper insights and troubleshooting.
Documentation and Training:

Create clear documentation for the logging framework, including guidelines and best practices.
Train other team members on effective logging practices.
Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in designing and implementing logging solutions.
Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and other logging tools.
Familiarity with Custom Google Platform (CGP) logging services.
Knowledge of logging libraries, frameworks, and best practices.
Understanding of event tracking, user behavior analysis, and data collection.
Technology Stack:

MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) experience preferred.
Familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Agile and CI/CD:

Experience working in Agile development environments.
Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Global, SaaS, and B2B Context:

Ability to work in a global context, considering diverse user needs.
Understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms and B2B (Business-to-Business) dynamics.
