Vice President - Controller (Multi-Site)

Responsibilities

Maintain effective internal control of all business unit operations and locations to ensure continued protection of its assets and an accurate reporting of its financial position.
Provide management with monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the organizationÂ’s financial status and progress in its various programs and activities in accordance with the Corporations reporting formats and requirements.
Partner with sales and operations management to manage working capital by balancing inventory, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Forecast business activity and financial position in the areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations in accordance with the CorporationÂ’s reporting formats and requirements.
Direct preparation of budgets by reviewing budget proposals; prepare necessary supporting documentation and justification.
Support audits of financials (internal and external), as well as develop/maintain internal controls and US Sarbanes Oxley-404 (SOX) testing and compliance.
Perform due diligence on potential acquisition targets. Develops synergy models, business forecasts, and trend analysis to support these opportunities, as needed.
Represent the company externally, as necessary, to government agencies, customers, suppliers, and auditors.

Requirements

BA Degree in Accounting, Finance or related; an MBA is a plus.
10+ years of previous experience in operational, general, and/or cost accounting.
5+ years leadership of people and/or teams.
Manufacturing plant experience is required.
Multi-Site experience is preferred.
Experience in a Publicly-Traded organization is ideal.
International experience would be helpful.
