Positioned as a pivotal figure in the industry, we are actively recruiting a seasoned Sales Manager to spearhead our Sales Teams.
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Manager who leads by example, a minimum of 5 years of experience in the waste management sector. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proven track record in the retail, commercial, and hospitality domains, with a pronounced emphasis on the industrial sector. Minimum Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Sales or Marketing
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sales Management position
Computer literate with a focus on the full Microsoft suite, particularly Excel
Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
Good understanding of the waste management industry and associated legislative requirements
HSEQ, OHS or EH&S knowledge and experience
Advanced communication skills (verbal and written)
Flexibility and self-reliance
Adaptability to lead and inspire
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Sound commercial reasoning
Strong interpersonal skills
Logical and detail-oriented methodologies
Follow-through ability to complete tasks to standard and on time

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and review the National Sales team to ensure the achievement of annual sales targets
Oversee the Strategic Account Team (SAT) and guide the Tender Committee and internal /Ad hoc Sales Functions
Identify key areas for improvement and collaborate with other departments to streamline internal processes
Work closely with the Commercial Manager, Sustainability Department, and Presentation Team to ensure successful client presentations and optimal outcomes for the company
Support sales team members on-site walks when required
Promote the company and engage with key stakeholders to secure invitations to tenders
Collaborate with the Legal Department on Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Monthly monitoring of sales consultants' KPIs
Collaborate with the Sales training lead to upskill and improve the team where required
Present monthly reports detailing Sales progress concerning annual targets
Handle administrative functions related to cost proposal approvals and other position-related requirements
