Qualifications Required:


- BachelorÂ’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field (MasterÂ’s preferred)
- Extensive experience in travel writing, journalism, or content creation, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership or editorial role
- Proven portfolio of published travel-related content showcasing diverse styles and formats
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an understanding of SEO principles
- Experience in managing a team of writers/editors, providing guidance and feedback
- Deep understanding of travel trends, destinations, and audience preferences
- Ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging travel content across various platforms

Usual Tasks:


- Lead the travel content strategy, setting editorial direction and maintaining the quality and consistency of content.
- Manage a team of writers/editors, assigning tasks, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a creative environment.
- Develop engaging travel content across different formats such as articles, guides, reviews, and multimedia content.
- Collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to optimize content for audience engagement and search visibility.
- Stay updated on travel industry trends, emerging destinations, and audience preferences to guide content creation.
- Ensure content meets brand guidelines, style standards, and is aligned with the target audience.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel partners, contributors, and influencers within the industry.
- Utilize analytics and metrics to track content performance and adjust strategies for improved reach and engagement.
