Waikiki Health is seeking a full time Revenue Cycle Specialist-Quality
Pay rate for this role is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
Schedule: M-F, 40 hour work week

The Revenue Cycle Specialist will have frequent interaction with clinical staff and is responsible for assisting with quality measures to ensure that clinical and social determinants of health care are definitively identified and added for all cases. This role ensures that the daily functions for the Revenue Cycle are completed in the designated time frame. The Specialist will be required to have flexibility to learn and comprehend complex systems and keen analytical skills. They will ensure cash goals are met according to company and federal guidelines. This role may be exposed to all aspects of the Revenue Cycle, including but not limited to insurance verifications, billing, insurance and patient collections, coding, payment posting, and patient services.

Qualifications and abilities
● High School Diploma or equivalent, experience may be substituted. Associate degree (Preferred).
● A minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare billing or similar role
● Medical records administration, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology (Plus).
● Certified Coding Specialist (Preferred)
● Ability to work independently and be productive.

General Duties include but are not limited to
● Perform billing, collections, and posting workflows Â– Validate claims billing and make necessary corrections, completes functions and tasks timely.
● Data Entry: 10-key, entering system information.
● Assist management and coworkers in providing and or developing training materials, assistance, and or guidance in the duties associated with this role.
● Attends training as assigned.
● Compliance with HIPAA regulations
● Other duties as assigned
