We are a dynamic and growing financial services firm based in Waterkloof, Pretoria. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing transactions, managing financial records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.
Strong knowledge of South African tax regulations and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Audit experience is an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities:
Processing of Transactions on Accounting Platform:
Accurately record financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records
Processing of Invoices on AI Automated Software:
Utilize automated software to process invoices efficiently and accurately
Loading Payments on Bank Profiles of Clients:
Manage client payments by loading them onto the bank profiles
Debtors Control:
Monitor and manage outstanding receivables to ensure timely collection
Supplier Control:
Maintain relationships with suppliers, manage accounts payable, and ensure timely payments
Payroll Processing on Payroll Platform:
Administer payroll processing for employees using a payroll platform
Submitting Pre-Calculated Information on SARS e-Filing:
Prepare and submit pre-calculated tax information on the South African Revenue Service (SARS) e-filing system
Calculating and Submitting Tax Returns:
Prepare and submit various tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts, including VAT, PAYE, and ITR.DT
Reconciliations:
Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
Compiling Monthly Management Accounts:
Generate and analyze monthly management accounts to provide insights into the financial health of the company
Compiling Annual Financial Statements (AFS):
Prepare and compile annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
Audit:
Assisting with audit execution
