As the National Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for HR and IR support on a national level as well as providing strategic advice and leadership in all areas of Human Resources.

Candidates with experience working for companies who employ 5,000+ individuals, have a strong background in unionised environments and possess an energetic approach, will be well suited to this role.

Minimum Requirements:
Suitably qualified in HR Management, Industrial or Organisational Psychology
Minimum of 10 years experience in HR, ideally with a National focus
8+ years experience in Industrial Relations
Solid track record of CCMA experience, including representation at arbitration
Extensive knowledge of the Labour Legislation
Experience in the Security industry is preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the Recruitment process, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience while adhering to relevant laws, policies, and recruitment regulations.
Coordinate and supervise the Orientation of new staff members, manage probationary assessments, conduct employee appraisals, and oversee terminations.
Identify Training, Skill, and Competency gaps within the organisation.
Collaborate with line management to facilitate Career Development, Succession Planning, and Talent Management initiatives.
Generate monthly Management reports as needed.
Revise and implement all Human Resources Policies and Procedures.
Establish Salary Structures and Allowances to maintain equity across the organisation.
Spearhead HR-related cost reduction efforts and oversee HR budget in alignment with Executive Management directives.
Maintain oversight of all administrative duties within the HR department.
Ensure optimal labour utilisation within budgetary constraints.
Uphold sound application of Industrial Relations practises at a national level.
Chair employee Selection Committees and meetings as required.
Lead and engage in activities related to Employment Equity, Skills Development, and Union Committee structures to ensure consistent adherence to statutory requirements and reporting.
