Overview
As a Junior Property Manager, you will be the face of the company for tenant relations and be responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of all maintenance and facility-related activities within a mixed property portfolio.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed grade 12, relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
3 or more years’ experience within property maintenance and facility management
Ability to manage contractors effectively.
Excellent tenant relations.
Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
Proficiency in computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as key contact for tenants by maintaining open communication, addressing their maintenance requests and concerns promptly and keeping them informed of any updates from the maintenance team.
Manage all correspondence with tenants via email, phone and site meetings.
Responsible for tenant handovers.
Coordinate and oversee routine inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues promptly.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of maintenance-related problems.
Ensure that all property facilities are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
Coordinate inspections and address compliance issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses.
Prepare regular reports on facility maintenance performance for management and property owners.
Manage external contractors and vendors for specialised maintenance services.
