Position Overview:
Are you passionate about words, detail-oriented, and eager to enhance your editorial skills? Join our team as an Editing and Proofreading Intern at NC Books. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the publishing industry, refine your editing abilities, and work alongside professionals in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Edit and proofread written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
- Collaborate with authors and editorial team to maintain the quality and integrity of our publications.
- Ensure consistency in style, tone, and voice across various pieces of content.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the clarity, coherence, and overall readability of manuscripts.
- Familiarize yourself with AI tools and techniques used in content analysis and optimization.


Requirements:
- Exceptional English writing and grammar skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Enthusiasm for learning about AI tools and their applications.
- Proficiency in remote communication and collaboration tools.
- Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
- Previous editing or proofreading experience is a plus but not required.
