Role: Kafka Technical Lead
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Contract



Need profiles with 10+ Years experience.


Required skillset:
1. Maven, XML, Web Services, Spring MVC
2. Kafka

Job Summary:
This position requires a team player who can wear multiple hats when needed.
As a technical expert, you must be comfortable working across engineering
domains on a variety of high impact projects.
You will be a valued part of a group that is constantly maturing Kafka use
and event-driven architecture.
Members of this team are responsible for the overall use and implementation
of Kafka components including the Confluent platform, observability,
governance, best practices, and solution development.



An advanced understanding of Kafka principles and enterprise integration
patterns is required.

Responsibilities

? Develop and implement solutions using Kafka in .NET, Node.js, and scripting.

? Responsible for regular duties related to an on-call rotation.

? Regular pair programming sessions with engineers.

? Administer and improve use of Kafka across the organization including Kafka
Connect, ksqlDB, Streams, and custom implementations.

? Work with multiple teams to ensure best use of Kafka and data-safe event
streaming.

? Develop deployment pipelines to Kubernetes for Kafka components.

? Identify and monitor both self-managed and fully managed Kafka components.
? Understand and apply event-driven architecture patterns and Kafka best
practices.
