Description:



Job Summary and Responsibilities:



? Hands on keyboard engineer with experience in the DevOps space and,
preferably, experience in the big data space.



? Thought leader in the team in the DevOps and CI/CD space



? Develop templatized, configuration driven applications that are easy to
maintain



? Develop and maintain performance efficient applications that extract, load,
and transform data in our data lake



? Maintain and secure sensitive data and information



? Develop applications with Test Driven or Behavioral Driven Development
approach



? Architect and improve current solutions to use best of the industry patterns
in the DevOps space



? Work in a high-performance agile team to deliver on the committed work



? Adapt to and learn about state-of-the-art technologies that can improve our
current solution



Qualifications and Technical Skills (any version of the following):



? Primary: DevOps tools (ADO preferred), Java, Python, Helm Charts, Maven (or
similar POM based tools), Spark, Spring Boot



? Secondary: Scala, Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, HBase, etc.), Kafka, Docker,
Kubernetes, Orchestration tools (like Airflow). Streaming tools
(NiFi/Streamsets etc)
