Full-time Admin Assistant

at freelancerecruitmentservicesuk in Norfolk

This is an exciting administration role for somebody who wants to work for an organisation that cares about their staff and the public as a whole.
We are now looking for somebody who cares back.
We now require somebody with administration experience to join our exciting team, ideally you will have some previous knowledge dealing with either staffing, recruitment, HR, payroll, staff applications or other basic accounts systems. If not, you must be willing to further yourself with inhouse fully paid training in order to build yourself a career or for a long-term permanent position within our company.


This role is based at one of our Norwich offices, which is based at NR3

Duties
Preparing job descriptions and job advertisements for various job vacancies - posting adverts online or elsewhere as required.
Dealing with applications and communications with job applicants - Emails, telephone, booking and arranging appointments, interviews etc.
Requesting references from past employers
Sending/emailing various documentation to current employees, new employers and applicants
Preparing contracts and other documentation where necessary - (training given)
Ensuing Right to Work, pre-employment checks, references and DBS checks are completed for new staff and applicants.
Assisting with the organisation of staff training and their records
Some basic payroll duties
Dealing with post, answering phones call and other basic enquiries
Developing and maintaining long term relationships with our employees.
Involvement in meetings including minute & note taking.
Setting up email addresses for new employees
Assisting with management diaries.
Answering and directing telephone calls.
Other basic administration duties as required.


Skills Required
Able to use Microsoft Office packages i.e. able to use Outlook (for emails), basic text documents in Word and basic spreadsheets using Excel.
Ability to write clearly and accurately, communicate effectively face to face and on the phone.
Able to manage your workload and prioritise to meet deadlines.
Good organisational skills and the ability to maintain efficient administration
Attention to detail and demonstrable ability to maintain accurate, up to date records.
Previous Office/HR Administration experience is desirable with Level 3 CIPD qualification or equivalent, however full training/payment is given to those willing to work towards gaining a Human resources qualification.

Hours of work 37hrs per week on a full-time basis - flexible hours Monday-Friday (£23,000.00 starting salary)
For the right person, we may consider a part-time 30hr flexi role (A starting part-time salary would be paid pro rata = £18,648.00 )
Some work/days can be done from home.
Although we don't ever encourage staff to work additional hours, we run a time owing systems for those very odd occasions where you might stay a little longer, all our staff members are fully compensated so they never lose out on their precious time.
