High Tech Genesis is looking for a Systems Specialist to provide the initial setup and configuration of a users’ newly purchased video recorder and IP cameras. You will be responsible to ensure the customer’s equipment is configured as per the purchased solution’s requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Remotely configuring network settings for each recording device
• Configuring camera naming and adjusting image settings
• Setting up camera motion detection and other analytics features
• Ensuring accurate time synchronization across devices
• Establishing retention rates for recorded data
• Creating and managing retention schedules and corresponding actions
• Configuring alarm, audio, and relay actions as needed

Required skills and experience:
• Experience configuring CCTV, IP video solutions or other related hardware
• Experience in the installation, maintenance, testing, configuring and integration of CCTV systems and devices
• Good understanding of CCTV system operations and design

Desired skills:
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications
