Role: AWS Engineer



YOE: 10-12 Yrs

 

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure using services such as EKS,
ECS, Lambda, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, Route 53, ELB, SNS, SQS,
Apache Kafka, and others.

Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement
cloud-based architectures, microservices, and serverless solutions on AWS.

Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications on EKS or ECS clusters,
ensuring optimal performance and efficient resource utilization.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform
for provisioning and managing AWS resources.

Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost of AWS
infrastructure using tools like CloudWatch, ensuring proactive alerting and
response mechanisms.

Implement and maintain network and security measures, including IAM roles and
policies, VPC configurations, security groups, and access controls.

Utilize AWS databases like Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB for data storage,
ensuring proper configuration, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

Integrate AWS services with external systems using REST APIs, leveraging
authentication frameworks for secure communication.

Implement event-driven architectures using SNS, SQS, and Lambda functions to
enable asynchronous communication and decoupling of components.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate CI/CD pipelines, implementing
deployment strategies and ensuring smooth application releases.

Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and
provide recommendations for adopting new technologies to improve system
efficiency.
