Senior Landscape Architect

at Jobisite in Maryland

Salary Range $75000 - $105000
BS degree in Landscape Architecture
Licensed Landscape Architecture
10+ years of design experience directly related to site/civil projects
5+ years of managing site/civil projects

Primary Responsibilities:
Expert knowledge in designing, preparing, and managing land planning and engineering documents for feasibility studies, preliminary plans, site plans, landscape plans, forest conservation and site grading

Skilled in research of existing site information, perform site evaluations for forest stand delineations/natural resource inventories, prepare reports and cost estimates

Extensive experience in local jurisdiction zoning and design manuals and drafting and design software

Conduct potential client interviews and prepare and edit proposals and responses to RFPs

Attend and lead meetings with clients, design team, and agencies to address project design, agency comments, and entitlement processes

Prepare workload, assign tasks, and review work of civil staff

Conduct occasional training seminars (in-house) and train and mentor staff

Attend and participate in professional organization meetings and represent the company at other evens as needed

Interview and assist in hiring process of civil/LA positions

Conduct annual staff reviews

Assist in review of invoices
