What you will be doing:

Independently handle initial client consultations and provide guidance and advice regarding the challenges and strengths of their legal case
Maintained and managed a caseload of litigation cases while providing frequent client updates and consistently moving cases forward.
Provide guidance, direction, and communication to any necessary support staff, including a legal assistant and paralegal.
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents and conduct any necessary research necessary
Attend and argue at court hearings and be able to work a case from beginning to end in Circuit and County Court

What you will need:

The ideal candidate is a solo practitioner or a candidate with a large caseload at a large law firm who is looking for more autonomy and balance in life
Prior litigation experience is required, while previous experience in real estate and commercial litigation is preferred but not required.
Salary will depend on experience and to the extent a book of business is portable.
Familiarity with Florida State Courts and a fundamental understanding of how to work a case from beginning to end in County and Circuit Court
Previous experience working directly with clients, preferably in a legal setting
Meet with a Managing Attorney and Support Staff weekly for case updates and department meetings.
