Title: SAP Configuration Manager

Work Authorization: USC/GC Only

Location: Denver, CO 80211 (Hybrid)

Duration: Fulltime role with Client

Summary Description:

This SAP Configuration Manager is responsible for overseeing a configuration team in support of one or more LFC business areas. Success will be measured by the team’s ability to consistently deliver significant business value through strong business partnerships resulting in a strategically aligned, innovative and high-quality portfolio of IT products and services for their respective area(s).


Job Duties (Accountability Categories and Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities): NOTE: The job may include other “non-essential” responsibilities and duties that are not listed on this form:

Leadership - 40%
Oversees an SAP Configuration team, ensuring department plans and priorities meet strategic objectives
Provides leadership, coaching and direction to staff
Maintains an engaged team environment with an open communication culture


Operational Excellence - 20%
Executes functional business plans and contributes to the development of IT strategies
Provides guidance for major initiatives directed at simplification and driving cost efficiencies in support of long-term planning
Drives initiatives to meet or exceed established SLA’s


Organizational Development and Stabilization - 20%
Collaborates cross-functionally with business partners throughout the company.
Manages Integration with other functional teams to achieve common business objectives and goals
Provides direction to team members to identify, assess, recommend, and configure IT components based on business requirements
Prepares and maintains individualized skills assessments and associated development plans for team members that address needs and expectations
Contribute to the maturation of internal IT processes and methodologies, as well the overall IT strategy.


Strategic Project Portfolio - 20%
Maintains LFC’s effectiveness and efficiency by partnering with business counterparts to define and deliver strategic business driven portfolio projects
Manages IT portfolio projects through the entire project life cycle, including project planning, execution, monitoring and controlling and closing
Ensures project returns and benefits are tracked and reported in a timely manner


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate discipline, or equivalent experience
At least eight years of relevant experience
At least two years of management and leadership experience
Relevant SAP configuration and support experience including at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations
IT production support experience
End user training experience


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

SAP certification in field of expertise
PMP
ITIL v3 certification
IT experience in a manufacturing environment


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Competencies:

Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated collaboration skills across the organization for application strategy, design, development, implementation, and support
SAP technical skills and ability to effectively communicate systems issues business partners
Results oriented with a proven track record for solving business problems with SAP’s solution framework.
Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issues


Working Relationships:

This position normally reports in to the Associate Director level.
This position has responsibility over a team of subordinate support professionals.
This position typically interacts with customers, colleagues, senior management, and other stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to use technology to improve business processes, promote the strategic use of information technology, and enable the workforce to use technology
