Kiliuda Consulting, LLC, a Federal Contractor industry leader is looking for a Contract Specialist to support the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Federal staff to prioritize how to address contract close-out backlog workload most effectively.
Provide weekly written status reports on contracts completely closed out in all systems and appropriate disposition measures taken, if applicable, as well as provide updates on all interim steps taken towards completion of pending contract close-outs and notes on next steps needed to be taken.
Participate in weekly meetings to discuss contract close-out management for the office portfolio.
Work with NCI staff to prepare, transmit, collect, and complete contract administration and closeout documentation necessary for contract close-out related activities.
Perform desk audits to prepare contracts or final close-out.
Correspond with vendors to facilitate contract close-out activities, including reconciling invoicing and receiving information between Vendor and Government records.
Prepare modifications that de-obligate unused funding after obtaining contractor confirmation of the amount to be removed.
Prepare close-out contract actions in appropriate business systems, such as NBS PRISM and FPDS, as well as update records in internal NCI workload management and contract management systems as necessary.
Facilitate records being shipped to and from off-site storage.

Collecting and organizing information to respond to data calls.
Assisting with mass communications to contractors regarding contract administration as needs arise.
Assisting with routine correspondence with individual contractors as directed by acquisitions staff.
Reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance in accordance with guidance provided.
Prepare standard documents needed for contract actions to be executed, following guidance and/or templates provided by acquisitions staff.
Prepare records and actions in acquisitions systems.

Requirements:

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation

Bachelors Degree

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills

Advanced MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and Power Point) skills is required

Excellent attention to detail

Must be able to speak and write fluently in English
