OLH Technical Services, Inc, a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer -Technician to effectively and efficiently support the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport, RI.
Qualified candidates will be expected to:
Perform basic electrical/mechanical repair and troubleshooting of various components (pumps, valves, hydraulics systems) associated with Towed Array Handling Equipment.
Provide equipment maintenance (routine, preventive, corrective) and repairs and support facilities testing and upkeep
Position Requirements:
US Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of Secret Security Clearance; candidates currently possessing an active Secret clearance are preferred.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Familiarity with basic handtools
Minimum two (2) years related experience on machinery/equipment maintenance, repairs, and operations. Prior experience with Navy systems desired but not required.
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written), and excellent customer service skills
Strong preference will be given to those candidates with experience with the navy Towed Array Handling Systems
Position is located Newport, RI.
