Position: Python Engineer

Location: Remote





You will work closely with technical leadership and other developers to
develop features, handle bugs and drive innovation. You will help to build
out a robust architecture which processes hundreds of millions of records
to support data science for a real time market research platform.
Additionally, you will develop and test the REST API layer, create and
maintain client SDKs, and integrate with and automate third-party systems
and technologies.
Qualifications
Abstract reasoning
A collaborative working style
A solid understanding of OOP principles
Write technical specifications and documentation
Experienced in data science and machine learning
Agile development methodologies
Ability to document code write to support other engineers
Required Skills
3 years of Python 3.x
Visual Studio Code
Strong knowledge of Git - Github - Gitflow
3 years experience with data processing and ETL toolkits such as Pandas,
petl, Bonobo, or Apache Spark
3 years experience working with object oriented programming languages.
3 years Experience with high level Python SQL interfaces such as
SQLAlchemy, Peewee, Pony, or Django ORM
Experience optimizing SQL queries for performance/integrity (indexing,
locking, transactions)
Familiarity with health reporting and monitoring
Understand throttling and queue-based execution
Bonus Skills
.NET/C# experience
ASP.Net MVC/WebAPI
Azure App Services
Batch Processing
ElasticSearch index design and queries
