Three Saints Bay, a Federal Contracting company is looking for an Accountant to join our team in Manassas, VA.

Accountant Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller that financial and accounting activities are properly managed and in compliance with government contracting procedures for a multi-entity organization
• Assist in developing Deltek Costpoint AR invoices - fixed price, cost plus and T&M as well as pulling together the back-up
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• Develop monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Review/Update monthly cost trend and Budget to Actuals
• Prepare month-end adjusting journal entries - depreciation, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, etc.
• Develop the monthly financial package - balance sheet, profit and loss statement, AP aging, AR aging and
statement of indirect expense (SIE)
• Process business licenses, sales & use tax, property tax, etc.
• Provide support for monthly/annual reporting packages, backlog reporting and annual incurred cost submission (for DCAA).
• Assist with requests from internal and external auditors.

Accountant Qualifications:

• Knowledge and understanding of basic GAAP accounting principles
• Must be detail oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• At least 4 years direct experience in general accounting, reporting and managing the close process
• 3+ years of Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP System
• Understanding of DCAA, GSA and FAR as it relates to accounting
