Pyhton Developer

Our client is seeking highly motivated and talented professionals to join their dev team. As a member of the team youwill be working with passionate and curious colleagues who thrive on solving comple problems.

Responsibilities:
- Support and enhancement of key components of the platform: security master, position management, tradeposting, reconciliation (real time and T+1), compliance, P&L, FTP framework (and more)
- Have input into the migration of these components to their next generation implementation based on therequirements of a growing business: improved scaleability, throughput, capacity, reliability, ease of deployment

Requirements:
- 2+ Years experience in a developer role or equivalent training academically
- 2+ Years of commercial/academic linux experience (Ubuntu, Fedora, CentOS, etc)
- Expert experience using Python 3
- Good understanding of database architecture, database design and optimization
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, MariaDB)
- Knowledge of time series nosql databases (Influx, KDB, One Market Data)
- Good knowledge of user space Linux and bash scripting
- Knowledge of popular data processing techniques and libraries in Python and Linux
- Experience with interprocess communications: sockets, message queues, TCP/UDPStrong written & Verbal Communication
