Position: Scrum Master



Location: Manassas, VA (HYBRID ROLE ? MUST WORK 2 DAYS A WEEK ONSITE
THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT DURATION)



Duration: 12+ Months



 



We are looking for an inspired and passionate Scrum Master to join the Agile
Transformation team driving the implementation of the Agile values and
principles in the company. Based in Manassas, Virginia, you will be leading the
adoption of Agile methodology and Scrum practices for your teams to have
effective ceremonies and solve hindrances preventing them from delivery. As a
driving force of technological change, we operate in a true agile way,
constantly looking for improvements to reach higher-performance and excellence.

Additional Information:



- Works with a team of other 10+ Scrum Master and Agile coaches



- Scrum master for at least two teams



 



Certifications and Experience:



- Certifications:



CSM, prefer CSP-SM or PSM I, prefer PSM II



- Working experience and/or certification on Kanban is a plus



- Working or familiarity with Spotify model is a plus



- Working experience in SAFe is a plus



- Prior Agile Coaching, Project and Program management roles is a plus



 



Tool Proficiency:



- Working experience in Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, MS Outlook, and other MS
products,



- Working experience on collaboration tools such as Mural, Miro, Mentimeter
and Slido



 



SKILL





Communicates effectively both with the Scrum Team, and with internal and
external stakeholders to influence progress and drive decision making. - 5

Create a view into the teams? strengths and areas of improvements
supplemented with a plan to get the team into high performance. - 5 years?
experience needed

Effectively facilitates and supports all scrum events including the events
around BRP/PI planning. - 5 years? experience needed

Guide and lead the teams on implementing Scrum methodology focusing on
timely delivery of high priority features and services on a timely manner. - 5
years? experience needed

Guides the team in managing the team member skillsets and the required
domain knowledge to ensure continuity of sustainable delivery and maintenance.
- 5 years? experience needed

Responsible for ensuring Scrum methodology, practice and guidelines are
well understood and measurably implemented. - 5 years? experience needed

Work closely with other Scrum masters to resolve team impediments within
and outside of the departments. - 5 years? experience needed

Works with other Agile coaches and Scrum Masters to advance Agile
practices. - 5 years? experience needed
