a Mainframe Developer in NYC, NY.

 

Position: Mainframe Developer

Location: NYC, NY (Day1 onsite)

Type: Contract

 

Job Description:

 

Notes: Must have VSAM, DB2, JCL . Must be fine for Hands-on Coding

 

Key skills required for the job are:

·        JCL(Mandatory)

·        COBOL

·        DB2(Mandatory)

·        VSAM (Mandatory)

As Onsite Tech lead/Coordinator

·          Responsible for development, support, maintenance and
implementation of a complex project module.

·          Interfacing with the Client managers, SMEs, Business partners and
QA teams

·          Planning and reviews of maintenance requests and small enhancements

·          Coordination with offshore team

·          Collecting and transmitting requirements to offshore in detail
after

·          Daily status report during development phase

·          Weekly status reporting to customer

·          Good knowledge of MF tools - expeditor, Changeman, SOATest.

·          Good understanding of DB2 stored procedure concepts.
