Job: SDET/Automation Test Engineer
Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Hybrid Job: 3 days per week onsite required
Visa: No H1b

Senior level Automation Test Engineer who has worked with Karate framework is needed for a long-term contract role.
This person must have at least 5 years of experience as an Automation test engineer/SDET and have Java and Karate framework experience.

Actively looks for solutions to automate test cases early in the test life cycle using Karate Automation framework.
Responsible for all functional and non-functional testing including mocking and performance testing using Karate Automation Framework.
Responsible for documenting test methodology to ensure the delivery of quality products.
Fluent in java/shell scripting with expertise in CI/CD pipelines and overall DevOps Concepts.
Drive identification, design and delivery for technical solutions (Karate Automation framework, tests, API hooks, tools) increasing test effectiveness and coverage, while reducing the cost of test execution.
Implement metrics, analyze test data and results to identify patterns, report on risk status to development partners, and influence software quality.

Responsible for designing and developing automated test scripts to support application testing.
The automation developer performs analysis of manual test cases and functional requirements and determines the balance of test coverage to be automated for reuse.
This person gathers information from the project team, designs, develops, unit tests, debugs, executes automated test cases and prepares reports.
The automation developer will document results and facilitate review meetings with project team stakeholders.

The automation developer actively looks for solutions to automate test cases early in the test life cycle and works on projects of high complexity within one or more test/development environments. This person works on multiple programs/systems/applications as a project team member and/or lead. The automation developer is considered a subject matter expert in the area of test case automation.
