What You’ll Do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Storage Administrator, you will support the Commvault backup and recovery environment and the Nutanix Files environment. You will collect, analyze, and document information about the current Commvault environment. Troubleshoot and optimize backup throughput issues and assist with ongoing deployment of Commvault software features. Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning. Perform daily duties related to system health monitoring and system integrity assurance including patching and upgrades. Maintain configuration compliance to avoid risks of system outages or compromised data.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Science, or equivalent
experience required
• 5+ years of Backup Administration experience in Commvault Enterprise
Backup Solutions; Commvault Master Certification is a plus
• Experience creating detailed Commvault reports and managing backup
storage targets
• Exposure to hardware devices such as Storage Arrays, Storage Area
Networks, Servers, and NAS devices and native snapshot capabilities
• Experience with virtualization on Hyper-V, VMWare and/or Nutanix in
complex, distributed or clustered environments
• Previous experience/exposure with other backup software and concepts
from Symantec, EMC, Veeam, Cohesity
• ITSM knowledge and experience with Cherwell or ServiceNow
• Advanced administration and troubleshooting of Windows and Linux
environments preferred
• Hands-on technical experience with hyperconverged infrastructure
(Nutanix, Netapp, Dell/EMC) preferred
• Able to travel to Federated Hermes locations
