What you'll be doing as a Billing Clerk:

• A Billing Clerk is responsible for creating financial documents like credit memos and invoices forcustomers to receive.
• Overseeing the review of monthly balances across departments and maintainingorganized financial records of invoices and other documents.
• Perform day-to-day A/R transactions
• Review monthly A/R reports tracking charges to clients to ensure correct charges are in place.
• Reconcile and analyze reporting provided by third parties, responsible to bill clients accurate billing
• counts and pricing.
• Prepare and process invoices according to contractual terms while following appropriateprocedures to ensure billing accuracy
• Accurately complete the necessary forms and adhere to schedule due dates.
• Works safely at all times and complies with all safety regulations while working
• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Works with a positive attitude and reports all questions or problems to the Manager.
• Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 1+ years of accounting experience a plus
• Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses, and Registration)Preferred but not required
• Ability to take full ownership of assignments, be self-motivated, and team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure of time constraints and be customer service-focused.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, and ExcelLanguage / Communication Skills:
• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms in English
• Communicate effectively with management/ supervisors and co-workers
• Spanish speaker is a plus
• Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision
• Proven experience as a billing clerk or general accounting experience
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies inpayments
• Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment
